MANNA FOUNDATION FOR GREATER HEIDELBERG

The MANNA FOUNDATION FOR GREATER HEIDELBERG was founded out of a need to prevent duplication of similar projects between various NGOs in Heidelberg, Gauteng. Indawo Yosizo is in partnership with the Manna Foundation which incorporates the following organizations which provide, amongst other projects, various feeding schemes to the community of Greater Heidelberg:

Although all four have different primary focus areas, there remain a lot of similarities that caused duplication to a certain extent. This left the NGOs vulnerable and a certain percentage of the community started to abuse and exploit the system for the wrong reasons. Each NGO will still keep its own identity and continue with the projects they initiated. We will eliminate duplication where possible and in that way strive to serve the community better and have better control on what is being done.

Any funds that are raised for the various feeding schemes go to a central bank account and the funds will be allocated to the organizations. It also eliminates fund raising problems with people from all the different NGOs trying to get as much from the limited amount of businesses in town. Various churches in the community have also pledged their commitment to financial support, but we need YOUR support as well.
