Many people and/or businesses and companies do not want to give donations in terms of money and cash due to poor management and control.
Unfortunately many NGOs do not have the expertise and management skills that is required to run a NGO (Non Governmental Organization).
Many NGOs receive large sums of money for their programs and projects but the management and specifically the control measures are not in place.
Therefore we give anybody the opportunity to donate by any means as they see fit. Please contact our Funding Coordinator if you want to donate anything else than money:
who feel safe, have regained a measure of dignity and who have a positive and active role in their communities;
who are fed;
who receive counselling from social workers;
who are cared for by our trained home care workers;
who, after our intervention, will have ID documents, receive a social or child grant or have been placed in foster care; and
who acquire basic life skills - literacy and education.

HOW THE FUNDS ARE SPEND
The income derived from our fundraising campaigns is spent as follows:
Home Based Care
Training of staff, kits and other medical expenses such as adult nappies, body cream, soap, ect.

Social Work
Social work intervention is the back bone of our services. The subsidy we hope to receive from the Department of Social Welfare will make up for 69% of wages. We fundraise to supplement the wages of these vitally needed staff members.

Bookkeeping, keeping excellent records and fundraising activities.
