Financial Needs

OUR FINANCIAL NEEDS FOR VARIOUS PROJECTS

PLEASE TAKE NOTE THAT WE DO NOT ONLY RECEIVE HELP ONLY IN CASH, BUT ALSO “GIFTS IN KIND”

Many people and/or businesses and companies do not want to give donations in terms of money and cash due to poor management and control. Unfortunately many NGOs do not have the expertise and management skills required to run a NGO (Non Governmental Organization). Many NGOs receive large sums of money for their programs and projects but the management and specifically the control measures are not in place. Therefore we give anybody the opportunity to donate by any means as they see fit. Please contact our Funding Coordinator if you want to donate anything else than money:

HOW DO WE MEASURE SUCCESS

We measure our success by the number of people:

  • who feel safe, have regained a measure of dignity and who have a positive and active role in their communities;
  • who are fed;
  • who receive counselling from social workers;
  • who are cared for by our trained home care workers;
  • who, after our intervention, will have ID documents, receive a social or child grant or have been placed in foster care; and
  • who acquire basic life skills – literacy and education.

MONITORING AND EVALUATION

  • monthly statistics;
  • six-monthly progress reports;
  • three monthly management meetings
  • monthly financial report; and
  • yearly audit
